A MASS-compliant meter is a smart electricity meter built to the technical specifications of Türkiye’s National Smart Meter Systems (MASS). It sends metering data remotely to the distribution company’s central system.
The meters come in two series. The PRO series communicates directly with the central system and is used in industry and high-consumption businesses. The EKO series is for homes and small businesses and works by connecting to PRO meters.
We supply MASS-compliant meters from Köhler, Baylan, Luna, Makel and Satera, and support installation and remote reading with our own systems.
MASS stands for Milli Akıllı Sayaç Sistemleri, Türkiye's National Smart Meter Systems. It is a national infrastructure of smart meters, modems, central communication software and a mobile app. It carries metering data remotely and in both directions across the electricity distribution system.
According to EPDK, the energy regulator, PRO meters communicate remotely with the central system and are intended for industry and high-consumption businesses. EKO meters are for homes and small businesses and work by connecting to PRO meters.
