Since 2002developing meters and remote reading systems
In 2002, Mustafa Türkeş started R&D work within Türkeş Elektrik. We connected meters from domestic and international manufacturers to our own Automatic Meter Reading System (OSOS): meters connect to the Microsis modem over RS-485, and the modem sends their data to OSOS over GPRS or Ethernet. Our first sale came in 2004.
As demand for OSOS projects grew, we separated production and software from Türkeş Elektrik. In 2010 we founded Microsis Elektronik ve Yazılım San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. We are based in Pendik, Istanbul.
Today we manufacture meters, modems and software. We develop OSOS, the kiosk software and the mobile app in-house. Brands and models we do not make are supplied as needed and installed with Microsis systems.
To date, more than 350,000 electricity meters in Türkiye and abroad have been read remotely with our systems, so no crew has to go on site for a reading. On prepaid systems, credit top-ups and tracking run on the same infrastructure.

Does Microsis make its own products?
Yes. We make our own meters, modems and software. OSOS, the mobile app and the kiosk software are developed by Microsis. We also source other brands and models when a project needs them.
In which countries has Microsis worked?
Besides Türkiye, we have carried out projects in Azerbaijan (Baku) and Iraq (Baghdad).
